PPA-Europe welcomes Chemique Adhesives as new associated member
As of 1st October 2025, the company Chemique Adhesives and Sealants Limited is an associated member of PPA-Europe. They are an UK manufacturer of industrial adhesives and supplier of adhesive application equipment. Polyurethane adhesive for the sandwich panel production belongs to their product portfolio.
We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration!
EUROPEAN CONGRESS 2025
On 16th and 17th October we gladly welcomed about 100 persons in the nice city of Prague on the occasion of our 2025 European Congress on sandwich panels and cold-formed metal profiles. As usual, the participants enjoyed the networking within our European community of manufacturers, suppliers and service providers and took benefit of the insightful and inspiring information from the various presentations that were given. The hot topic of sustainability was completed by other interesting topics such as the EU digital product passport, the new developments related to the fire behaviour of sandwich panels, the research on blisters on the sandwich panel skin or the application of the AI in the industry.

Meeting of the IFD Façade Commission
On 2nd October the Façade Commission of IFD, International Federation of the Roofing Trade, met in Linz, Austria before the Austrian “ÖFHF Themenabend” on ventilated façades.
The IFD Façade Commission works on a new IFD guideline on maintenance for rear ventilated façades. This work could be finished on this meeting. The guideline will be published next year.
Other main topics that have been discussed were green façades, fire tests on PV systems on façades and the new Construction Products Regulation, CPR, and its impact on kits.
The members gathered in Linz came from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and Finland. PPA-Europe is member of this commission.
